About Me
Hi, I'm Deborah. A designer and illustrator.
I am a UK-based surface pattern designer and illustrator creating refined, story-led work across print, product and paper. My studio practice bridges illustration, textile design and contemporary stationery — rooted in thoughtful composition and an elevated, romantic aesthetic.
I started my training with Foundation Studies Art & Design at Central St Martins College of Art in London, before going on to complete a BA in Graphic Design, specialising in Illustration, also at St Martins.
Over the past fifteen-plus years, I have worked across stationery, editorial and product design, with work published in design and craft magazines and developed for both independent brands and private clients. My background in graphic design informs a considered, typographically aware approach to pattern and illustration.
I’m drawn to botanical forms, quiet narratives and expressive mark-making — balancing commercial clarity with artistic sensitivity. Whether developing surface pattern collections, birth announcements or presentation tools for designers, my focus is always on beauty, structure and longevity.
I welcome collaborations, licensing enquiries and commissions from publishers, brands and creative studios.
